The Radio Relics are a DC-born band now based in NYC. What started out as after-school music lessons turned into a decade of collaboration between Isaac Viorst (guitar, vocals) and Matthew Ashman (drums, vocals) and a musical amalgamation of dad rock meets The Strokes. Alongside bandmates Jonah Bierman (bass) and Max Mendelsohn (guitar), they released an entirely self-recorded, produced, and mastered debut album, Out There. While gigging and recording are their vices, the band leads a double life attending NYU Tisch and Steinhardt. The Radio Relics have become a staple of New York’s indie live scene, opening for Telescreens, and recently on a lineup including LAUNDRY DAY, Quarters of Change, The Thing, and Sid Simons, to raise money for the California Fire Foundation. Catch them onstage next month supporting Pan Arcadia at Le Poisson Rouge.
